Patterns: See ravelry - Things that work up quick and keep me interested. I really enjoy one skein projects. I own two of the One-skein project books, original and luxury yarn.
Yarn Weight Preference: I normally work in Worsted, but I have a good ammount of Fingering weight. My goal is to start working on socks and lace soon to use up all that Fingering/Lace weight I keep collecting.
Fiber Dislikes: Noro (in general), Acrylic, Angora, Cotton, and yarns that are scratchy to the touch
Favorite colors/Least Favorite Colors: I enjoy - orange, red, browns, blacks, greens, burgandy and combinations there of. Think fall. I also enjoy turquoise, aqua, peacock blue. I don't like pastels or most neutrals (tan, taupe, grey) for objects I would wear.
Favorite Projects: Projects that are not entirely stockenette. It must have some variety or I will get bored.
Things I Like But Don't Make For Myself: Socks. I have second sock syndrome. I have one pair of socks I've made, but I have yet to kitchener the second toe. I love sock yarn, but the sock bug hasn't bitten me yet. I know it will eventually, but not yet. Also amigurumi chrocheted items. I can't crochet but I heart the little animals made in this technique. The owls and penguins are adoridable!
Favorite Gadgets: Stitch makers! One can never have enough! Soak in the sample sizes, any scent! Project bags- any size, shape, color, form! Shawl pins - metal or wood.
Salty vs. Sweet: Sweet! Yummy, yummy chocolate. I heart pepermint. Only Almonds for nuts.
Tea or Coffee: Both. I do not like BOLD coffee, but other than that I'm willing to try anything. For teas I will do anything! I (heart) Republic of Tea!
Favorite Scents: Vanilla, Sweet pea, Pepermint, Citrus. No lavendar!
Favorite Holidays: Halloween! Not so much for the scary aspects, more for the fun of dressing up, decorating, and a love of magic! I heart pumpkins and owls!
